Sales Specialist - Storage

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Sales Specialist focused on storage solutions. This hybrid position requires you to work on average two days per week from the Perth office and collaborate with account managers, channel partners, and internal sales teams to drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a storage sales pipeline, capturing leads and ensuring follow‑up across the territory.
• Collaborate with account pursuit teams to leverage solution expertise for business development and quota achievement.
• Assess technical and business feasibility of storage solutions to qualify opportunities and negotiate profitable deals.
• Lead storage‑focused marketing campaigns and act as a trusted consultant for key accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with C‑level stakeholders and channel partners to expand market presence.

Required profile

• University or Bachelor’s degree preferred with 6‑10+ years of sales experience, including 2‑3+ years in storage sales.
• Proven track record of meeting progressively higher quotas and managing complex sales cycles.
• Extensive vertical industry knowledge and project‑management experience.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in storage technologies, cloud integration, and data‑center solutions.
• Strong sales acumen with ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close large‑scale deals.
• Proficiency with internal sales tools, pipeline hygiene, and account planning.
• Knowledge of competitor offerings and industry trends to position HPE solutions effectively.
