Sales Executive – Group Travel

About the role
Jetstar is looking for a Sales Executive focused on group travel to join its Melbourne head office. You will be responsible for driving new business across education, sport, corporate, MICE, leisure and special‑interest segments, helping the airline expand its group travel portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Generate incremental revenue by acquiring new group travel customers.
- Build and maintain a high‑quality sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify and convert opportunities across multiple market segments.
- Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation to close.
- Prospect through referrals, networking, industry events and trade shows.
- Represent Jetstar at industry forums, trade shows and customer events.
- Develop strong relationships with decision‑makers to position Jetstar’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored group travel solutions.
Required profile
- Commercially driven with a passion for sales in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment.
- Proactive, confident in prospecting and skilled at turning opportunities into results.
- Ambitious sales professional seeking a tangible commercial impact in aviation.
- Comfortable managing the end‑to‑end sales process rather than traditional account management.
