Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Hybrid/Remote

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative you will generate qualified sales opportunities for Splunk’s security and observability solutions across a broad geographic territory. You will work in a high‑performing GTM team, using a mix of inbound and outbound outreach to engage prospects and set up meetings for the account team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute inbound and outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, email, social media and other virtual channels.
• Qualify leads by analysing prospect size, industry, product needs and competitive landscape.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and track progress against weekly, monthly and quarterly targets.
• Schedule discovery meetings and hand them off to the account team.
• Record all activities and insights in the CRM system to support sales and marketing strategies.
• Analyse data and create forecasts to inform pipeline health.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of demand generation or sales development experience in the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of SaaS security and observability solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for technology trends.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Required skills

• CRM (experience entering and managing prospect data).
