Sales and Business Development Executive - Australia

About the role

Motive Offshore Group delivers equipment rental, manufacturing and Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) services across the global energy industry. Reporting to the APAC Sales Lead, the Sales and Business Development Executive for Australia develops and qualifies new business opportunities in the Rentals, TIC and C-Kore divisions, supports the group's strategic growth and promotes its People Values and sustainable practices. The role is based in Perth, Australia (remote), full time.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial and technical proposals, negotiate commercially and track opportunities in the internal CRM system
• Build new client relationships and develop strong sales pipelines across Australia and international markets
• Visit clients face to face to discuss technical and commercial leads, and handle sales enquiries and opportunities
• Make presentations, manage customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Carry out quality checks on product and service delivery at the end of projects, and monitor sales projects, schedules and budgets
• Develop and maintain the customer sales database, and work with Marketing/PR on sales materials
• Attend exhibitions and sales events, monitor competitors and provide market intelligence
• Integrate environmentally friendly products and services into proposals and support Net Zero objectives

Required profile

• University degree
• Proven technical knowledge of Motive product lines across Rentals and TIC, and previous business development and sales experience
• Strong knowledge of business development and sales principles, and good negotiation and presentation skills
• Awareness of sustainability and environmental considerations in a sales and technical context

Required skills

• Proficiency in sales and CRM tools and strong computer literacy
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and to communicate at all organisational levels
