RTO Trainer / Assessor – Full‑time

About the role

SpanSet Australia is seeking a full‑time RTO Trainer / Assessor to deliver its nationally accredited training programmes and competency assessments. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will support learners, ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the growth of the RTO business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess classroom, workplace‑based, online and blended training sessions for high‑risk work environments.
• Coordinate course schedules, manage student enquiries and maintain accurate records in the VETtrak Student Management System.
• Act as the primary contact for existing and prospective employer clients, presenting RTO solutions and preparing proposals and quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to align training offerings with product sales and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with ASQA, RTO Standards and relevant legislation, supporting internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the development and validation of training and assessment resources.

Required profile

• Experience delivering nationally accredited training and competency assessments in a vocational education setting.
• Strong understanding of ASQA regulations and RTO compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders and develop business opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to documentation and record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with VETtrak (or similar student management systems).
