Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Mantra Chatswood, you will be a key member of the Housekeeping team, ensuring guest rooms are immaculate and welcoming. You will work in a vibrant hotel environment in Chatswood, north of Sydney’s CBD, delivering high‑standard cleaning and supporting guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping surfaces to create an exceptional first impression.
• Follow established cleaning guidelines and standards to maintain the hotel’s reputation for quality.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping equipment organized and ready for use.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong eye for detail, efficient time management and pride in work quality.
• Physical stamina to navigate rooms, stairs and corridors throughout the shift.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
