Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Mantra Geraldton, you will be part of the Housekeeping team responsible for delivering a spotless and welcoming environment for guests staying in modern one‑, two‑ and three‑bedroom apartments. The role combines hands‑on cleaning duties with a focus on guest comfort and teamwork, ensuring every stay is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping surfaces to create an exceptional first impression.
• Follow established cleaning standards and safety protocols while using cleaning materials responsibly.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping supplies organised and readily available.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to support a flawless guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or a similar housekeeping role is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and colleagues feel at home.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time‑management skills.
• Physical stamina to navigate stairs and walk between rooms throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
