Room Attendant

About the role

The Chen Melbourne – Art Series is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. You will ensure guest rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and ready for an exceptional stay, while supporting a collaborative team environment in a vibrant hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping surfaces.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in line with hotel guidelines.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys with necessary supplies.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and follow all safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or room attendant roles is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time‑management skills.
• Physical ability to navigate stairs and walk between rooms throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
