Room Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Mantra Sun City, you will be a key member of the Housekeeping team, ensuring every guest room is spotless and welcoming. Your work supports a memorable stay for travellers enjoying the Gold Coast’s beaches, dining, and attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping surfaces.
• Maintain high standards by following established cleaning guidelines.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys with necessary supplies.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and follow all safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time management.
• Physical stamina for moving between rooms and using stairs.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines.
