Roads Maintenance Worker (3 Positions Available)

About the role

Randstad is recruiting three Roads Maintenance Workers for a 6-month labour-hire contract based at the Broadford Council Depot. The work involves keeping the community's roads safe by maintaining municipal road infrastructure and carrying out routine repairs across the shire. The roster is a 4-day week (Tuesday to Friday) with a 3-day weekend, working 6:30 AM to 4:34 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on the municipal road network.
• Work outdoors as part of a collaborative, safety-focused field crew.
• Ensure work sites are set up safely and effectively.
• Help maintain high safety standards for the local community.

Required profile

• A physically fit, hands-on worker who enjoys being outdoors.
• Proof of a current, unrestricted Australian Class C driver's licence before starting.
• Valid Traffic Controller / Traffic Management Implementation ticket.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• First Aid certificate at minimum Level 2, including up-to-date CPR.
