Risk Control Testing Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Risk Control Testing Analyst to join our First Line Risk and Governance team. In this permanent, hybrid position you will work across AUSPAC to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls, delivering practical assurance insights that support strong risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct control testing and assurance activities across key processes and business areas.
• Engage with stakeholders to plan, deliver and communicate testing outcomes, ensuring a professional customer‑service experience.
• Prepare clear, evidence‑based observations and reports that highlight control themes and support decision‑making.
• Provide practical recommendations to improve control effectiveness and overall risk maturity.
• Support the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, templates and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in control testing, assurance, or a first‑line risk role.
• Knowledge of general insurance operations, products, risks and regulatory obligations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on high‑quality service.
• Technical expertise in assessing evidence, identifying themes and communicating findings.
