Retail Sales Travel Consultant - Murray Bridge

About the role

Flight Centre is hiring a full-time, on-site Retail Sales Travel Consultant for its Murray Bridge store in the Hills & Murray Region. You will work on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade, helping customers plan and book holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Plan itineraries, book travel and turn enquiries into bookings in person, by phone and by email
• Sell the whole holiday, including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises and transfers
• Meet individual KPIs and sales targets
• Build a customer base of new and returning customers
• Advise customers on travel-related questions such as visas, best time to travel, packing and local food

Required profile

• Genuine passion for travel and a desire to help customers explore the world
• Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy, high-pressure environment
• Warmth and enthusiasm that makes customers want to book again

Required skills

• Good organisational skills, with strong note-taking and calendar management
• Quick response to customer calls and emails
• Comfortable using computers and switching between complex booking systems

• Wage boosted to $65K equivalent for the first 90 days, with average first-year earnings of $70K, senior consultants $100K and team leaders $138K, including superannuation and penalty rates
