Retail Manager - Wynnum

About the role

The St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland, including Vinnies Retail Stores, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead its Wynnum retail store in Wynnum Centre. This is a permanent, full-time (38 hours per week) position working rostered shifts, including some weekend work. The manager oversees end-to-end store operations, including budget management, stock control, buying and ordering, and leads paid employees and volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including budget management, stock control, buying and ordering
• Lead paid employees and volunteers
• Drive performance and implement effective retail strategies
• Create a welcoming shopping environment for customers and their companions

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in retail management, with experience leading a team to achieve targets and operational outcomes
• Knowledge of retail operations, retail strategies, merchandising, leadership, growth and sustainability
• An eye for sustainable fashion and repurposing
• Appreciation for volunteers and a collaborative leadership style
• Ability to work rostered shifts, including weekends
• Appropriate visa to work in Australia/New Zealand
