Restaurant Manager - The James

About the role

The James is looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager to run the day-to-day operations of its venue. The manager ensures smooth service, strong team performance and an outstanding guest experience, working closely with senior leadership to drive standards, culture and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the front-of-house team
• Oversee daily operations so that service is efficient and of high quality
• Manage staffing, rosters and labour costs
• Maintain exceptional guest service standards and handle feedback professionally
• Work with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless experience
• Monitor and drive revenue, costs and overall venue performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role
• A hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
