About the role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team at Maison Bâtard, a modern French venue located in Melbourne’s CBD. You will shape exceptional guest experiences, develop talent, and support senior management in operational and financial tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of exceptional guest service at all times.
- Coach, mentor and develop FOH staff, supervisors and assistant managers.
- Drive training and development programmes across the team.
- Assist senior management with operational and financial tasks.
- Manage people, performance and compliance processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a premium à‑la‑carte venue.
- Strong leadership with a focus on team engagement.
- Exceptional service skills and guest focus.
- Highly adaptable and able to perform under pressure.
- Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Experience with Time & Attendance systems.
- Experience with stock management systems.
