Resourcing Consultant

About the role

St John WA, a not-for-profit healthcare provider serving Western Australia since 1922, is looking for a Resourcing Consultant to join its Industry Medical Services team on a permanent, full-time basis in the Belmont office. The team is growing and values diversity and challenge. The consultant focuses on recruiting, resourcing and mobilising clinical personnel, supporting corporate clients and deploying staff to industry projects across WA.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the talent pool and track candidates' availability for contract engagements
• Use selection tools such as interviews, presentations, skills assessments, pre-employment medicals and reference checks to assess candidate suitability
• Issue employment contracts and onboarding documents through the onboarding system or manually for site-specific onboarding
• Provide excellent customer service to candidates, internal and external stakeholders
• Take part in an on-call roster to handle urgent client or operational issues outside normal hours
• Contribute to a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation's vision, values and priorities

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Human Resources or Psychology (desirable) or demonstrated experience in a similar position (preferred)
• Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment, selection and appointment experience
• Strong understanding of staff mobilisation and agency-based recruitment
• Experience in a commercial recruitment consultancy (desirable)
