Resort Attendant – Outback Queensland

About the role

Join the team at Undara Experience, a remote resort in the heart of Outback Queensland, and help create memorable stays for travellers. As a Resort Attendant you will combine guest‑focused service with hands‑on hospitality tasks in a unique natural setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests.
• Perform housekeeping duties, cleaning rooms and shared facilities to high standards.
• Support food and beverage operations when required.
• Maintain grounds presentation and general resort upkeep.
• Assist guests with enquiries, local information and special requests.
• Help tour and operational teams during peak periods.

Required profile

• Enjoy working in a remote, close‑knit team environment.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Previous hospitality, housekeeping or tourism experience (desirable).
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Flexibility to assist across multiple departments.
• Ability to live and work in a remote location.

Required skills

• Manual handling – lifting up to 20 kg, kneeling and squatting.
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Operating basic resort machinery and equipment.
