Residential Experience Team Member

About the role

UniLodge is looking for a Residential Experience Team Member for its Essence Communities team at WeAreLiving Dickson, near Canberra. The role is the welcoming face of the team and helps the General Manager with day-to-day operations of the asset, supporting residents, visitors and clients with enquiries about their residency, general needs, lifestyle and the local area. Ideal candidates have experience in real estate, student accommodation or the hotel industry.

Key responsibilities

• Create a friendly environment that delivers an exceptional customer service experience for residents.
• Assist prospective residents, in-house residents and guests efficiently and professionally.
• Help with the day-to-day property management of apartments.
• Manage incoming phone and email enquiries.
• Handle check-in and check-out processes for residents at the start and end of their tenancy.
• Carry out routine and exit inspections and condition reports.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with third parties on building facilities management.
• Collect and reconcile rent and ancillary revenue payments.
• Keep apartment turnaround times aligned with KPIs, ensuring inspections and repairs happen before move-out.
• Coordinate and deliver community events for residents.

Required profile

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Cert IV in Real Estate Practice (ACT).
• Foundational experience in leasing or property support.
• Naturally helpful, warm and welcoming, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Confident in problem-solving and decision-making.
