Reservations & Rooms Control Agent

About the role

Sheraton Port Douglas is looking for a Reservations & Rooms Control Agent. The role handles incoming calls to the hotel, manages guest requests and reservations, and supports the team in delivering excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls to the hotel and direct them to the appropriate department
• Analyse and update guest requests so they are tailored to each guest's needs
• Handle hotel outlet reservations and guest orders
• Assist and coordinate guest bookings, engaging with guests and exceeding their expectations
• Build relationships with existing and new guests to encourage future bookings
• Cooperate with other departments to ensure service excellence
• Complete reservation administration tasks and support the team

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Working rights in Australia
• Enthusiasm for career growth, self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
