Reservations Manager

About the role

Journey Beyond, Australia’s leading experiential tourism group, is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead its reservations function. You will ensure seamless, high‑quality booking experiences for guests while driving revenue and occupancy through effective inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the reservations team – set goals, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor call volume and collaborate with the Workforce Optimisation Manager to adjust staffing levels for timely service.
• Oversee customer inquiries and bookings, including answering questions, providing quotes, and processing reservations.
• Analyse performance data, forecast trends, and identify opportunities to optimise results.
• Work closely with internal teams to align reservations processes with overall business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in reservations, tourism, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Commercial mindset and solid understanding of revenue‑management principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and foster a collaborative workplace culture.
