Research Fellow – Digital Child (Hybrid)

About the role
The School of Education at Queensland University of Technology is seeking a Research Fellow to join the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. This hybrid role focuses on how digital engagement influences children’s learning, health, and wellbeing, and on developing digital tools to support positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research within the Healthy and Educated Child programs.
- Maintain a national or international reputation in the research area.
- Lead or contribute to funding initiatives and research proposals.
- Mentor and support the development of junior researchers.
- Disseminate findings through publications, conferences, and stakeholder engagement.
Required profile
- Relevant doctoral qualification and a strong research track record.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the two‑year term.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to high‑quality, impact‑driven research.
