Relief Motel Manager - 36 Room Motel, Parkes

About the role

Australian Relief Management is recruiting a relief motel manager in Parkes to oversee the day-to-day running of a 36-room motel during a relief period from 3 to 18 December 2026. The position covers front office and reception, breakfast and dinner service, and coordination with the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the 36-room motel.
• Manage front office and reception operations.
• Oversee breakfast service on 5 mornings per week and dinner service on 4 nights per week.
• Work alongside the existing chef and food and beverage staff.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping team; linen services are outsourced.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and property presentation, and ensure smooth motel operations throughout the relief period.

Required profile

• Previous experience in motel or caravan park management is essential.
• Experience overseeing food and beverage operations.
• Ability to work effectively with an established team.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to daily motel operations.
• Availability for an ongoing regular relief assignment every 8 weeks is highly regarded.
