Relationship Manager – DSI

About the role

The Relationship Manager – DSI will manage and grow a portfolio of Specialist Industries customers for ANZ. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, cross‑selling, and generating referrals to drive portfolio growth while delivering customer‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act in the best interest of customers and apply a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each customer’s business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate solutions and collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to design, structure, and execute deals.
• Build and maintain strong external networks, focusing on conflict‑of‑interest management and origination.
• Structure deals together with product and specialist teams.
• Manage a portfolio of specialist customers and coach an Assistant Manager direct report.

Required profile

• Current, in‑depth knowledge of industry trends, drivers, competition, and credit approval factors.
• Proven relationship‑management skills to influence and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Business‑development experience partnering with individuals or organisations to create commercial value.
• Portfolio‑management capability to prioritize work and balance change initiatives with business‑as‑usual.
• Strong customer‑solutioning ability, understanding needs and presenting relevant products or services.
• Experience in credit assessment and management.
