Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, EP, Physio or RN)

About the role

Altius Group, which offers workplace, employee and disability services across Australia, is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist or Registered Nurse to join its Rehabilitation Services team in Darwin. You will help injured, ill or disabled people regain independence, improve their quality of life and return to work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with likely recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, families, insurers, employers and other health professionals to consider physical, psychological and social factors
• Present case information and give credible recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing
• Full registration with AHPRA or ESSA
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence and a car
