About the role
We are seeking a regular faculty member to teach Community Health in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at our Foster City campus. The role combines teaching, service, and scholarship to support student learning and professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Community Health coursework for ABSN students, using learner‑centered and evidence‑based methods.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate curriculum aligned with program outcomes.
- Provide academic advising, hold office hours, and support student success.
- Participate in university ceremonies such as graduations and pinning events.
- Engage in service activities that promote the university’s mission and the nursing profession.
Required profile
- Advanced nursing degree (MSN, DNP, or equivalent) with expertise in community health.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.
- Experience in higher‑education environments is preferred.
