Registrar or Senior Registrar (Advanced Trainee) - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

About the role

The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital is recruiting a Registrar or Senior Registrar (Advanced Trainee) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It is an advanced training opportunity within one of Queensland's leading tertiary women's health services, suited to those aiming for a career as a Generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. You will work closely with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams, supported by protected research, education and teaching time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a tertiary hospital setting, matching your level of training and expertise.
• Take part in advanced training aligned with RANZCOG requirements, including the Generalist Obstetrics and Generalist Gynaecology pathways.
• Contribute to clinical leadership, service improvement and quality assurance activities.
• Mentor junior medical officers through teaching, supervision and postgraduate medical education programs.
• Work with consultants, nurses, midwives, allied health and other colleagues to deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care.
