Registered Nurse - Surgical Ward (T11 South)

About the role

Bayside Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its T11 South surgical ward at Peninsula University Hospital. The ward is an orthopaedic and plastic surgery unit that also cares for general surgery patients, managing a diverse patient population needing both planned and emergency surgical care. Limited-term options are available, and there is a high probability of a substantive permanent position in the nurse pool after the contract.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate year program completion or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in surgical nursing.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to communicate well with consumers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

Required skills

• Written documentation prepared in clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
• Clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice.
