About the role

This position offers autonomous practice across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and residential aged‑care settings, with flexible shift rostering to support a balanced lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient‑centred nursing care in emergency, general inpatient, outpatient and aged‑care environments.
• Mentor and coordinate Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to ensure collaborative care.
• Act as Shift Coordinator when required, managing workflow and resources.
• Lead a clinical portfolio focused on quality improvement, education or leadership development.
• Build trusted relationships with patients, families and visiting specialist teams.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience or willingness to work in rural and remote Indigenous settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cultural respect.
• Commitment to quality improvement activities and clinical audits.
• Desire for ongoing professional development and leadership growth.
