Registered Nurse – Remote & Offshore (Energy & Resources)

About the role

Join Aspen Medical as a Registered Nurse (or Nurse Practitioner) delivering high‑quality healthcare in remote, offshore and marine environments for the energy and resources sector. You will work independently in emergency situations, supporting teams on FIFO rosters across Queensland, South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to workers on remote sites, offshore platforms and vessels.
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform advanced life‑support interventions.
• Conduct health assessments, including audiometry and spirometry testing.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with AHPRA standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver preventative health programs and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in remote or offshore healthcare settings.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
• Willingness to work FIFO rosters and travel to isolated locations.

Required skills

• Advanced Life Support certification (including CPR refreshers).
• Advanced Trauma Management training such as ITLS or PHTLS (highly desirable).
• Drug and Alcohol testing certification.
• WHS, Training & Development qualifications (highly desirable).
• Four‑wheel‑driving, audiometry and spirometry certifications (highly desirable).
• BOSIET/HUET and OGUK certifications or willingness to obtain them.
