Registered Nurse – Private Community Hospital

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing team at St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith. You will work across a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, gynae, ophthalmology and endoscopy, providing comprehensive patient care in a regional setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to patients across multiple clinical areas.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient management.
• Utilise clinical IT systems for accurate patient documentation, health information handling and risk management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the hospital’s model of care.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration to practise as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum two years post‑graduate nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical IT systems for patient and health information management.
