Registered Nurse - Part Time Permanent

About the role

St Vincent's Care Carseldine is looking for a Registered Nurse to join an experienced, engaged and dedicated team committed to a welcoming, professional and caring environment for its residents. The Registered Nurse - Clinical Partner ensures quality resident care through clinical nursing practice, promotes collaboration among the health care team and maintains a resident-focused approach across the continuum of care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care to residents in line with the care plan
• Promote collaborative relationships among the health care team
• Maintain a resident-focused approach to nursing

Required profile

• Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility
• Flexibility to work permanently part time, with two possible schedules: Week 1 Mon AM, Tue PM, Wed PM, Sat AM, Sun AM; Week 2 Mon AM, Tue PM, Wed PM, Thu ND
• High level of customer service skills, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directives as per the care plan
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities
• National Police Certificate issued within the last 6 months
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required for the role
