Registered Nurse - Night Shifts, IRT Culburra

About the role

IRT Culburra is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support the health and wellbeing of its residents. The role suits a dedicated clinician who wants to make a meaningful difference to older Australians. Current shift patterns are Week 1 Monday, Thursday and Friday (2230-0700) and Week 2 Thursday, Friday and Sunday (2230-0700).

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care
• Manage and supervise care workers
• Undertake client assessments
• Monitor clients' care needs and evaluate care plans
• Provide treatment as required

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a residential care home environment
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia-related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians
