Registered Nurse - Medical Ward

About the role

Inverell Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its Inpatient Unit in the Inverell area of NSW. The role involves caring for patients with diverse medical and clinical needs, using acute nursing skills and clinical judgement to deliver safe, evidence-based care alongside a multidisciplinary team. Positions are permanent and temporary, full time and part time, up to 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care across a range of acute medical presentations
• Use clinical assessment, decision-making and care coordination skills to support positive health outcomes
• Work with medical, nursing and allied health professionals
• Receive structured orientation, mandatory training and guidance from experienced colleagues and a Clinical Nurse Educator

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two years' recent acute medical ward experience
• Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship with a current passport, or an appropriate visa allowing work in Australia
• Commitment of at least 18 months to the position or the agreed contract duration; part-time and contract payments are pro-rata, and early contract end may require repayment of some incentives

What we offer

• Remuneration of $81,748.17 to $114,771.98 per year plus superannuation and salary packaging
