Registered Nurse

About the role

Respect Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to older residents across its Australian facilities. Reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, the RN will play a pivotal role in resident admissions, ongoing assessments, and daily nursing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive resident histories and conduct admission and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans.
• Provide direct clinical care, including personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management, and support during GP rounds.
• Administer medications and manage ordering, storage, and documentation in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Standards.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Understanding of government standards, Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument, and accreditation processes.
• Strong clinical and documentation skills.
