Registered Nurse

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Carnes Hill Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide patient education and support.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage treatment‑room logistics: stock control, sterilisation, equipment care and infection‑control practices.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate and Immunisation Record.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient‑centred attitude.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Best Practice clinical software (preferred).
• Competence in performing ECGs.
