Registered Nurse - Intensive Care

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting Registered Nurses for its Intensive Care Unit at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has cared for the veteran community for more than 70 years and now serves the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas. The position is permanent, full-time (38 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 24 hours per week), with pay of $41.22 to $57.88 per hour plus superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Develop clinical skills alongside an experienced team and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Previous experience in an acute clinical setting, including intensive care
• Demonstrated clinical assessment, critical thinking and prioritisation skills
• Full working rights within Australia
