Registered Nurse – Geriatric Evaluation & Management

About the role

Join the Geriatric Evaluation and Management inpatient unit at Mercy Health Albury as a Registered Nurse. You will deliver best‑practice, patient‑centred care within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers and pastoral care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to geriatric in‑patients on a rotating roster (up to 80 hours per fortnight).
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years post‑graduate nursing experience.
• Current NSW Health immunisations and Category A risk compliance.
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay organised.
• Valid Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (electronic medical record systems).
