About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its 12-bed Psychogeriatric Unit at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, part of the Aged Care and Rehabilitation clinical stream. The unit cares for older patients with behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia and/or delirium, often complicated by acute illness, in a purpose-built, secure environment that supports freedom of movement and includes a diversional therapy service.

Required profile

• Permanent full-time (38 hours per week) or permanent part-time (minimum 24 hours per week)
• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
• Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster
• Full working rights within Australia
