Registered Nurse - Aged Care

About the role

St Vincent's Health Australia is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Carina Aged Care facility in Brisbane. This is a maximum term contract until September 2027. You will work closely with the clinical team, including the Clinical Manager, Clinical Nurse and other Quality team members, providing quality care to residents and clients while promoting collaboration across the health care team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality patient/resident/client care through clinical nursing practice
• Promote collaborative relationships among the health care team
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to nursing across the continuum of care

Required profile

• Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential
• Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility
• Broad shift availability is desirable; experience in dementia care is an advantage
• Nationally coordinated police clearance certificate or NDIS clearance

Required skills

• High level of customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directives as per the care plan
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities
