Registered Architect

About the role

COX is looking for a registered Architect in Sydney who plays a key role in project delivery, covering design, documentation and coordination. The role covers discrete packages on larger projects and supports smaller ones, spanning concept design and material selection through to documentation, coordination and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present design proposals, produce drawings and visualisations, and research materials, codes and standards
• Support documentation to milestone standards and coordinate consultant inputs
• Contribute to technical reviews and, on occasion, take part in site visits
• Support junior team members, foster consultant and client relationships and help drive design quality across the practice

Required profile

• Master's degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification in a related field
• At least 3 years of architectural design experience, with increasing responsibility across project phases
• Registration with the relevant governing body
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous learning

Required skills

• Revit for architectural design and documentation
• BIM software and tools
• Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Autodesk Construction Cloud and Microsoft 365
• Rhinoceros is desirable but not essential
