Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

Candii is recruiting experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians for a national services business with more than 20 years in the industry. The client is a national HVAC/R, fire, electrical and building services business, operating out of an established local depot in Perth with a team already in place. The roles are permanent and full-time, with a planned schedule so you are home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Look after commercial and industrial clients across Perth, mixing scheduled maintenance with breakdowns, repairs and installs
• Work on split, ducted and VRV/VRF systems, chillers and mechanical plant
• Service commercial refrigeration, cool rooms and freezer rooms
• Work on controls and BMS
• Receive jobs through dispatch and run your own day once on the road

Required profile

• Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
• Current ARCtick licence and current driver's licence
• Solid commercial HVAC/R experience, including fault-finding
• Confidence to work independently and look after clients on site
• Helpful: EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets, BMS / controls experience, commercial refrigeration or chiller experience, and experience on large commercial or industrial sites
