Recruitment Officer

About the role

Freedom is looking for a Recruitment Officer to join its People & Culture team. You will manage full recruitment cycles in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a variety of roles across the business.
• Write and post job advertisements, review applications and conduct initial screenings.
• Coordinate interview schedules and partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs.
• Proactively source, headhunt and build talent pools for current and future hiring.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide market insights and contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of recruitment experience, preferably as an internal recruiter in retail or FMCG.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple roles in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience using recruitment systems, job boards and sourcing tools.
