Recruitment Consultant – Technical Recruitment

About the role

Rarekind is looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join its Newcastle branch and help grow the technical recruitment niche across the Hunter region. You will work with a supportive executive team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues to deliver exceptional client and candidate experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and convert leads by meeting new and existing clients in the Newcastle and Hunter markets.
• Represent Rarekind at community networking events to become the go‑to recruiter for technical talent.
• Manage a warm desk of temporary and permanent roles in Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and the operations team to optimise processes and drive business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within technical sectors such as engineering, IT, or logistics.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to engage in networking and community events.
