About the role

Sundstrom, the leading specialist HSE and Quality recruitment business in Western Australia, is expanding its non‑mining team in Perth. We are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our close‑knit, high‑performing group and help drive growth across a diverse portfolio of industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face client meetings across Perth’s key industrial hubs, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Meet candidates ranging from junior to senior levels in sectors such as industrial engineering, manufacturing, marine & defence, transport & logistics, civil construction, and commercial construction.
• Generate new business through a mix of cold and warm outreach while expanding existing accounts.
• Manage day‑to‑day client and candidate queries, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
• Source and manage multiple live roles simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities.
• Attend industry networking events and, as you progress, organise your own client or candidate events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in agency recruitment, preferably within industrial or construction sectors.
• Strong resilience and ability to handle the highs and lows of recruitment.
• Excellent persuasion and presentation skills.
• Motivation to progress toward Senior Consultant or Account Manager roles.

Required skills

• Proven ability to source and place candidates across multiple roles.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Organisational skills to juggle several vacancies at once.
