Recruitment Consultant - Accounting & Finance

About the role

Charterhouse is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join its Accounting & Finance team in the Sydney CBD. The role is a true 360 recruitment position with a strong emphasis on business development and building long-term client relationships. It suits people with a background in either permanent or temporary recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and identify opportunities across the commercial Accounting & Finance market.
• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development and client briefing through to sourcing, interviewing and placement.
• Develop strong candidate networks and become a trusted specialist in your market.
• Take ownership of your desk and drive its growth, including responsibility for revenue targets and budget.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Accounting & Finance, though other specialisms will be considered.
• A genuine interest in business development and relationship building.
• A proactive, resilient and commercially driven approach.
• Enjoyment of going out into the market, meeting clients and creating opportunities.
