Recruitment and Onboarding Lead

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking an experienced Recruitment and Onboarding Lead to drive high‑quality talent acquisition, onboarding and workforce resourcing across the organisation. Reporting to the Director Workforce – People & Culture, you will shape the employee experience and support strategic workforce initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and workforce resourcing services.
• Provide expert advice to managers and senior leaders on talent attraction and workforce planning.
• Manage and develop the Recruitment and Onboarding team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
• Participate in workforce projects, reporting and the design of onboarding experiences.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce management within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven leadership ability with experience coaching and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, employment legislation and relevant awards.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with the ability to identify service‑delivery enhancements.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
