Recruiter, Talent Acquisition

About the role

The AWS Talent Acquisition team is looking for a customer‑focused Recruiter to lead candidate generation initiatives across diverse roles in Australia. You will work closely with hiring managers to uncover, engage and evaluate top‑tier talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies based on deep understanding of role requirements and market trends.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research, referrals, career portals, job fairs and other sourcing channels.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on the talent market, offering ideas and strategies to shape the long‑range talent landscape.
• Implement and refine recruiting processes to ensure high‑quality results and operational excellence.
• Manage recruitment data, drive data‑driven decision making and continuously improve hiring practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in a high‑volume, high‑bar environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple searches, projects and client relationships simultaneously.
• Experience building talent pipelines, handling complex compensation, offer negotiation and closing.
• Strong analytical skills to create, measure and scale recruiting workflows.
