Reception Teacher (EYFS) – Full‑time, Permanent – Sep 2026

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Reception (EYFS) teacher to join a vibrant 2‑form entry primary school in Epping Forest, Essex, starting September 2026. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers the chance to work within a well‑resourced Early Years Foundation Stage department supported by an experienced senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess a rich EYFS curriculum that fosters curiosity and confidence.
• Create engaging, creative lessons and activities tailored to Reception learners.
• Collaborate daily with teaching assistants and senior staff to support pupil progress.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor development and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Participate in CPD and optional subject‑lead responsibilities (TLR) for additional remuneration.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and at least one year of experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and a genuine passion for early years education.
• Creative, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to develop professionally and take on extra responsibilities if desired.
