Radiographer (Medical Imaging Technologist)

About the role

Lake Imaging, part of the Integral Diagnostics network, is seeking a full-time Radiographer (Medical Imaging Technologist) for its Ballarat site. The role mixes hospital and clinic work across several sites, with a strong focus on patient experience, and covers a wide range of advanced imaging modalities alongside experienced radiologists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with Lake Imaging protocols and clinical standards.
• Work efficiently in a busy multi-site environment, using RIS/PACS systems effectively.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical colleagues, including sterile and interventional techniques where required.
• Deliver patient care through clear communication, professionalism and teamwork.

Required profile

• Qualification in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration is essential.
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Experience in CT is beneficial; MRI or mammography competence is viewed favourably.
• Experience with Siemens and Shimadzu equipment is an advantage.
