Quality Engineer

About the role

LEAP Dev is expanding its Quality Engineering team and seeks a Quality Engineer who treats quality as an outcome, not a phase. You will partner with developers and product owners from the start, shaping defect prevention, automation, and continuous delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute test code alongside the development team, following established frameworks and engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain functional and non‑functional automated tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback.
• Execute system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Participate in pull‑request reviews to uphold code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Track test coverage, manage QA work and defects in JIRA, and keep the team informed about quality status.
• Identify friction in the delivery process and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering, with a blend of automated and manual testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools to enhance test automation and overall quality engineering productivity.
